What is the VPSBL PLAYER PATHWAY?
The VPSBL PLAYER PATHWAY is the road map for Primary school kids of all ages a direct PLAYER PATHWAY to join Domestic Basketball and Representative Basketball at their local Victorian junior basketball league Club.
Kids that have not had the access or connections to play for a Domestic or Representative Cub, can now play for their local Primary School and be directly associated with a major domestic & Representative Clubs and are invited to club days and try-out days.
Who is the VPSBL player?
The VPSBL players are sometimes new to the game of basketball and would love to join a team with their school friends wearing their school basketball uniforms. Supplied by VPSBL at no cost.
We provide in-school clinics with current Australian U/19 and Victorian U/18 Head Coach Darren Perry, ex-WNBL, Victorian State and SEABL basketball players.
Darren also provides coaching webinars for beginner coaches (parents) on the core fundamentals to ensure correct PLAYER PATHWAY development.
Sport Teachers and School Principals benefit equally as well, by supporting VPSBL the school is allowing their students to play for their school that is being completely managed by parents.
All VPSBL teams are directly affiliated with a major Victorian Basketball Club or Association. Our passion is to offer primary school kids more opportunities to play Basketball in a safe and friendly environment whilst representing their school and having fun.
